Campaign Mission
The Ambulatory Surgery Center Advocacy Committee (ASCAC), which includes the national and many state ASC associations as well as representatives of all types of ASC operators and physicians, is working on behalf of the industry to raise awareness of the important role that ASCs play in the health care system.
“At a time when health care costs are skyrocketing and access to quality patient care is a national priority, ASCs continue to offer communities throughout the country high-quality, patient-centered care and a cost savings for both the individual and the health care system as a whole,” said Andrew Hayek, Chair of the Ambulatory Surgery Center Advocacy Committee and President and Chief Executive Officer of Surgical Care Affiliates.
